Okay, here’s a throw back for all you Brady Bunch fans. Of course you remember the “pork chops and apple sauce” episode, but what about the episode that dealt with Peter’s voice changing? The kids, adults, Alice the housekeeper and the whole neighborhood went down to the local recording studio so the kids could make a record. About Peter’s voice. Kind of. The record was all about change. Hmmm.
Just wanted to mention that here because even though that episode is a bit of a “golden oldie” now, the song had an important message that I find applies today.
When it’s time to change, you’ve got to rearrange who you are and what you’re gonna be
There’s no shortage of talk about change, is there? Change is hard. Change is inevitable. Change is us!
So what do we do with that knowledge about change?
How about trying it on for size? Giving change a chance. Letting it take hold. Taking it for a test drive.

The great thing about change is that it’s changeable. If you make a change and you don’t like it, you can re-change, change back, or unchange. It’s change!
So, a secret about change that may help you — You can just TWEAK something you’d like to change instead of going whole hog!
A little bit of living, a little bit of growing, all adds up to you
Have you heard of A/B testing? Advertising agencies do this all the time. Change something in A, and leave it the same in B, then compare them and see what works. Change something else in B, and leave it the same in A. See what works. You get the idea.
The point is that you can do this too!
Scared of change? Tweak it, and whatever “it” is for you…you can tweak it back or tweak it some more if you don’t like it.
It’s really that easy. You just have to get chummy with change. Challenge change. Channel your inner change. Just chew it!
Instead of crossing your arms and standing firm, open that door and invite change in for a cold beer or glass of wine!
Get comfortable with change, and it will work in your favor. Embrace it, and you’ll never be the same.
